The Spitters are an enemy found in the last area of the game. They spit blood at you and make a loud buzzing noise at all times.

They can be found in The Last Area.

The first Spitter is found almost immediately after you leave the last safe area in the game, announced by a loud buzzing sound.

Appearance[]

The Spitters look like a rotting, deformed human body with a giant hole in their mid-torso. They are always floating and hold themselves limp. Judging by the area they are found in, it seems they are corpses brought back from the dead.

When killed the monsters will turn into a bloody meat pile, in a similar fashion as the Protagonist at the start of Grand Bulim Avenue.

Gameplay[]

The Spitters are slow enemies, and when they see you they will slowly move towards you. Once they get close enough, they will start spitting blood, and so are most easily dealt with from range.

Spitters can take a lot of hits from most weapons.

The weapon that is most effective against The Spitters is the Shotgun.

Trivia[]

  • The Spitters are the most deformed and nightmarish enemy in the game, and are found at a point in the game where the player begins to question whether or not the events of the game are real.
  • The Spitters may be a figment of The Protagonist's imagination.
  • The only note in the Final Area that says "The text is illegible" actually says "It lays upon my branches... dangling there as a sick reminder of what I rejected." This could be referencing what these things are: a dead human from The Protagonist's memory's (or someone else) who they regret not helping.
The 'branches' may be a reference to Bayagototh.
  • When entering The Last Area you were once supposed to see a Spitter drinking acid.
