The Paranoid Man is a major character in Lost in Vivo, he leaves notes and hints for The Protagonist while they traverse through The Mines.

It is unclear if The Paranoid Man is alive or not when The Protagonist is going through The Mines

This place should be empty.

But the lights are on, and I hear something crawling around. Why keep power on? Why?

I can't fathom what this place even is, I've tried to map it out but it doesn't make sense.

I'm so far away from those monsters up above, but even down here I'm not alone.

I can't trust anyone, they're all just serving the monsters. No one is different. It's just me now. Why wouldn't they just listen.

The Paranoid man and Jane Exspiravit are the only characters mentioned by the Maggot Coffin other than The Protagonist
The Paranoid Man was originally going to be a fully voice acted character who would speak to The Protagonist while they went through The Mines
- The Paranoid Man was also supposed to watch you through security cameras which makes it likely that the camera right outside of Nezumi Testing was owned by The Paranoid Man and not the lab
